Status values for gc:Commitment instances. 7 stages tracking the progression of an organizational commitment from declaration through fulfillment or abandonment. Phase 8 joint design memo (2026-04-16), Open Question #5 lock.

Code Label Definition
ABN Abandoned The organization has actively withdrawn the commitment — the stated intent to engage has been rescinded. Distinct from Expired (which is passive lapse). Abandoned commitments are retained in the graph for provenance and coordination awareness.
DEC Declared The organization has stated its intent to engage in the committed work. Initial status at commitment creation — no resources have yet been formally committed and execution has not begun.
EXP Expired The commitment has lapsed without action past its gc:targetCompletionDate (or past a platform-defined inactivity threshold if no date was set). The commitment was not actively withdrawn — it simply was not executed. Expired commitments are retained in the graph for provenance.
FND Funded Resources (financial, personnel, or material) have been formally committed to this engagement. The organization is resourced and ready to execute but active field work has not yet begun.
FUL Fulfilled The commitment has been fully completed — the scope of work has been executed to the satisfaction of the committing organization. Self-asserted fulfillment is valid; corroborated fulfillment (via a separate Attestation from another agent) carries greater trust weight.
INP In Progress Active execution of the committed engagement work is underway. The organization has begun field work, deployment, or service delivery toward the commitment's stated scope.
PFL Partially Fulfilled The commitment has been completed in part — some but not all of the stated scope has been executed. The remaining scope may be picked up by this organization or another. Use when execution is complete but scope is incomplete.
